King of Clubs Scholarship Application 2026

The King of Clubs of Greater Miami scholarship is open to minority and underserved high school seniors from Miami-Dade County and Broward County who are pursuing higher education at an accredited college, university, or HBCU. Applicants must demonstrate academic achievement with a minimum 2.5 GPA, leadership qualities, and community involvement. This African American scholarship program welcomes students from all backgrounds who meet these criteria.

King of Clubs of Greater Miami scholarships range from $1,000 to $2,500 per recipient. The exact amount is determined by the scholarship committee based on academic achievement, financial need, leadership qualities, and community involvement. Over the past 34 years, this minority scholarship program has awarded more than $250,000 in scholarships to over 100 students in South Florida pursuing education at colleges, universities, and HBCUs.

To apply for the King of Clubs scholarship, you need: a completed online application form, official high school transcript showing minimum 2.5 GPA, two letters of recommendation from teachers, counselors, or community leaders, a personal essay of 500-750 words explaining your educational goals and community involvement, proof of Miami-Dade or Broward County residency, and an acceptance letter from an accredited college, university, or HBCU.

The King of Clubs of Greater Miami scholarship application for 2026 must be submitted by March 27, 2026. Recipients will be announced on April 13, 2026 and acknowledged at our Annual Scholarship Banquet. Early submission is encouraged as applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

The King of Clubs scholarship is primarily for graduating high school seniors and recent graduates entering college. King of Clubs Miami scholarship recipients are selected by the Scholarship Committee based on a comprehensive review of each application. The committee evaluates academic achievement, community involvement, leadership qualities, the personal essay, recommendation letters, and financial need.
