The King of Clubs of Greater Miami Incorporated is a philanthropic, volunteer-oriented organization — one of the oldest social clubs in Miami, Florida. Every year we award scholarships to graduating seniors from Miami-Dade County public and private schools and the following select Broward County schools: Miramar High School, Boyd Anderson High School, and Dillard High School.
Enclosed is a copy of the King of Clubs of Greater Miami Scholarship Award Application. Please complete the application and submit all required information by Friday, March 27, 2026.
The recipients will be announced on April 13, 2026 and acknowledged at our Annual Scholarship Banquet. The student, parents, and CAP/Scholarship Advisor will be notified of the organization's selection.

To be eligible for the King of Clubs of Greater Miami minority scholarship, applicants must attend a Miami-Dade County school or one of the select Broward County schools: Miramar High School, Boyd Anderson High School, or Dillard High School. Students must also demonstrate academic excellence and community involvement.

Must be a graduating senior from a Miami-Dade County public or private high school, or from the following select Broward County schools: Miramar High School, Boyd Anderson High School, or Dillard High School. Proof of school enrollment required.
Academic Achievement
Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA required. Applicants with GPAs above 3.0 are strongly encouraged to apply. Official transcript required with your application.
College Bound
Must be accepted to or planning to attend an accredited college, university, vocational school, or HBCU. Acceptance letter required before scholarship funds are disbursed.
Community Involvement
Demonstrated community service, volunteer work, or extracurricular activities. Leadership roles and civic engagement in your school or neighborhood are highly valued by the selection committee.
Financial Need Considered
Financial need is considered but is not a strict requirement. We aim to support students who may face financial barriers to higher education, especially first-generation college students.
Application Deadline
Applications must be submitted by March 27, 2026. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Early submission is strongly encouraged. Recipients announced April 13, 2026.

Completed Application Form

Official High School Transcript
Official transcript showing your cumulative GPA (minimum 2.5). Informal transcripts may be accepted initially. From Miami-Dade County or Miramar, Boyd Anderson, or Dillard High School in Broward.
Two Letters of Recommendation
Letters from teachers, school counselors, community leaders, or mentors who can speak to your character, academic ability, and leadership potential.
Personal Essay (500–750 Words)
A well-crafted essay describing your educational goals, career aspirations, community involvement, and how this scholarship will help you achieve your dreams. This is your opportunity to stand out.
Proof of Residency or School Enrollment
Miami-Dade County applicants: proof of residency (utility bill, lease, official correspondence). Broward County applicants: must provide current school enrollment confirmation from Miramar, Boyd Anderson, or Dillard High School.
College Acceptance Letter
Acceptance letter from an accredited college, university, vocational school, or HBCU. Can be provided after initial application if not yet received.
